What exactly is our bulldog grit?

BORN of EARTH & FIRE our Bulldog grit is made with Pumice!

Pumice is a fine-grained volcanic rock that is created during an explosive volcanic eruption when the water and gas filled magma is forced out of the volcano. When the pressure drops the water flashes to steam and rapidly cools and hardens the magma creating a lightweight, porous volcanic glass that falls back to the earth. The rapid cooling during the process creates the vesicular structure of the pumice stone. 

The stone is grounded into a fine powder and added to our BOdy Bar Soaps.
